Vaseline Healthy White SPF 24 (Triple Lightening Lotion)

Hey! Blessed day for everyone. :) Today I'm writing a review on Vaseline Healthy White Lotion which has SPF 24. [TRIVIA: SPF stands for Sun Protection Factor ^.^]
Lately I've noticed that my skin is so dry I deeply needed a lotion. And I realize that since I'm buying one why not buy something that has an SPF in it.

Some lotions have higher SPF in it like 50 or 100. But I read an article that the sun protection is not merely based on the scaling of SPF but rather on the way you apply it to your skin... (try to research more about that huh)

Lets start! I have never tried Vaseline before but, what the heck, I still tried it. :{
I bought 100 ml packaging. It states that it helps keep you fair and even toned under the sun.

It has SPF 24 which protects your skin from getting burnt by UVB rays. PA++ : prevents skin from becoming dark and Vitamin B3 which makes your skin fair.

After taking a bath, I apply it in my skin.

I've been using it for 1 month and two weeks now. I love the smell. It is not that strong. The texture is not that greasy as well. I just don't know if you also observed that for some lotions with SPF in it, it is sometimes hard to apply. (or is it just me. HAHA. :D)

After using it for a month and 2 weeks, I noticed that skin is not that dry as it used to be. But I didn't whiten my skin as I expect to. Hehe. Maybe I still need to use it longer and more often. :)
Anyways, I'll give it <3<3<3<3/5. (4)

Have you tried other lotions out there? Kindly share it to the comments section below. Love to hear them.
Peace and love gals! :)

LOVE yourself

I learned that loving yourself is not always selfish. Sometimes it depends on what the circumstances is.

When I was young my mother always says, be good to others so that they will also be good to you. During my elementary and high school days, I've tried my best to be good. I'm always the humble, quiet and nothing to say but good type of student. (as to what I remember) I don't take sides in classmates' feuds nor say anything that will inflict others. Before doing something, I think of others first. That has always been the norm.

I always look in the goodness of people because that is what I am with my family. (And until now, I think there's nothing wrong with that.)

.........

During the mid of high school, I became sad. I spend more time alone.

That is when I notice that people around you already have a perception that if you're good, you're capable of doing nothing but good. And you can't suddenly change that. Little did I know that some of them are using that goodness back at you. You became important to some people because they are good having you. At first, it feels great being important. But days passed, if you didn't do anything as what they say, you're suddenly unimportant. (tears are starting to pour. T.T) You became all good and too boring for them.

It came to a point that I don't want to go to school but that's a big NO NO for my parents. See, they have that big big big expectations. I don't know where to go. "Barkada" in school is so much for me to handle. I felt I'm in the wrong crowd. And I never want to experience that bad feeling again.ever! -.-

I didn't like my high school nor do I hate. Because there are good and bad realizations I learned from there.

As I mature, I learned to love myself in such a way that I can also love back others because I already have that sense of individuality that I can share with them. And I'm so glad I found those people in college. They tried to build a new version of me. They let me experience friendship like no other. Step by step they're putting back the smile and confidence I have before.

At the end of the day, I don't blame those people in high school because honestly, a big part of it is my fault. If I just pick up myself and stand before their slant actions, I may even have a new version of me back then.

......

Love yourself. everyday. And if you do, I'm sure you'll can be HAPPY. Good vibes and happy thoughts always!

Peace! <3 <3 <3 <3 <3

Quick FX Eyelift Cream

Yo! During the cold days last January, I felt I needed an eye cream. My eyes are puffy due to late nights and have fine lines underneath. So after few days, Watsons is the place to be. I found Quick FX eyelift cream together with their other lines. And hey, its made from Korea.
It is so cheap compared to other leading eye cream like Olay. I guess since it is in a 10g sachet, it is really cheaper. I bought it at 49 pesos. I also notice before that there are a lot of supplies of this product in every branch of Watsons so it's easy to find.

The packaging claims to reduce fine lines, dark circle and puffiness. It also refine and tone areas around the eyes, so let's see.

Its active ingredients are Ellagic Acid and Niacinamide. Ellagic Acid is an anti-oxidant while Niacinamide whitens skin. hooray for that!

Honestly, the packaging is good however I don't know if the lid cover is just easy to break or I just have the wreck it Ralph hand. RAWR. I broke it after 2 weeks of regularly using. >.<

According to the directions, apply a pea size amount underneath your eye area stroking it from the inner to the outer region. Use it in the morning and at night.

Do you know that applying eye cream through your ring finger is the best way since it has the softest touch among all our fingers. :)))

After I wash my face, I regularly put this cream before any moisturizer every morning and at night. I am using this for a month already and honestly, I didn't see a lot of result. I just noticed that after I put this at night and wake up in the morning, my eyes' puffiness were reduced but the fine lines weren't.

The cream is greasy so I pat it softly and let it dry for a while.

I don't know about other eye creams but, this eye cream does not irritate my eyes. It doesn't have fragrance in its ingredients list.

For those who are weary about paraben, sorry to say that it has.

I don't know how long shall I use this cream but as to what I know, it still deserves a second chance. It might help my fine lines after another month.

Right now, it is only half-full and I will still use it regularly. So I guess I can consume the 10grams for two months.

Many beauty bloggers love this product but it didn't work as much as I expected. So, overall, I give it
 <3 <3 <3< /5  (3.5)

Next time I will try Quick FX Pimple Eraser. I will also have my review on that.

Have you tried this product? If not, what other eye cream have you tested? Kindly share your thoughts! Love to hear them. :)
Love and peace gals! :)))

Laneige Water Sleeping Pack

Hi gals! :)

Today, I'll be reviewing Laneige Water Sleeping Pack.
Do you know that Laneige is a French word which means snow.

With a lot of blogs claiming that Laneige products are truly the best, I was very encouraged to try one of their products. I first heard Laneige from Bubzbeauty and then a lot of bloggers afterwards. My friend bought me their 80ml blue jar which cost 1,250 pesos in Trinoma. Pricey? yeah. let's see if its worth it.

I have an oily skin and use Ponds Anti-bacterial cleanser twice a day. But I feel that sometimes it makes my skin dry, so I decide that mask may be beneficial. I also read that applying mask once a week is good, so hooray for that! :)

By the way, I checked their site, and its their second top seller after Original Essence Top white renew.

Laneige Water Sleeping pack is an overnight mask pack which has a gel-type consistency claiming to give your skin intensive hydration, vitality and brightening effect. Since I have an oily skin, I like using gel type products. And according also to the label, its for all skin type so, let's try.
It has a lot of ingredients in it so I decided to go to www.cosdna.com and check its safety. It has a lot of green rating on it, so I decided for a go. The only acne causing ingredient is Dimethicone and Butylene Glycol.

Since it is a mask, the instruction is to apply it once or twice a week or more than the recommended amount when your skin is particularly dry.

I like the packaging because its blue. :D Aside from that, it comes with a spatula which is hygienic. 80ml is also a lot so I think it will last for a year. Kudos to that. It feels like your 1,250 is divided to 12.

After I cleanse my face, I open it and I super love its aroma scent. They actually claim that this scent will relax you and can promote sleep. I put a pea size amount into my face and neck and massage it. Its a little bit sticky at first so I pat it and let it dry for some time.

After 2 moths of using the product, I can say that my skin is definitely smoother and soft. I swear. But I guess not as smooth as Song Hye Kyo's face. Hehe. Everytime I use it and wake up the next day, I observed that my skin brightens. :p And then I cleanse it afterwards.

Honestly, my skin is a bit rough before because of pimples and scars but when I tried this, my skin feels better. However, it didn't stop the unwanted surprise of acne but it sure did minimize them.

If everything goes well, I will repurchase this again. For now, I will give this product <3<3<3</5 (3.5)

What do you think? Kindly share your ideas in the comments section below.

Peace and Love everyone!

Neutrogena Hydro Boost Water Gel Review

January 15,2014

For those people who have oily and prone to breakouts type of skin, lemme share to you my interesting discovery of Neutrogena Hydro Boost Water Gel. :)

I like to search for skincare products for oily skin until I stumble on this blue jar of 50g. According to its label, it has purified Hyaluronic acid and Olive extract. I read that Hyaluronic acid is used in combating skin aging, so kudos to that! Olive extract on the other hand is an antioxidant, so yeah, hooray!

But aside from its claims, I also check www.cosdna.com if the ingredients in a product are safe to use. The rest of the ingredients are fine except for the Dimethicone and preservative. Dimethicone has a low acne issue based on the analysis. But I still decided to buy since a lot of bloggers are really rooting for this. ^.^

I bought it in Watsons for 830 pesos. And I don't regret buying it since it is so soothing for my oily skin. It is not that thick and is easily absorbed compared to Laneige Water Sleeping Pack. It is soooo light and not sticky! Once you put a pea size amount on your skin, it will dry for about 2 minutes. I used it every morning and night after cleansing my face. Since Philippines has humid weather, I think you don't want to put on heavy creams on your face except if you have very dry skin.

For a week, I've been using this product, and I can say that my skin is still adapting to it. I did got a little unwanted surprise on my face but not that big of a deal compared to some moisturizers I've tried.

For those who are looking for an SPF, it doesn't have any. And based on my observation, since it is water-based and has a gel consistency, it may be consumed easily. :( I think 50g jar will last for 2 months if you're using it constantly. You can also use a spatula in case you feel its very unhygienic.(be resourceful!) I use my Laneige's spatula. ;) I like the fragrance but some might be sensitive to it. In addition, it is oil-free, non-comedogenic allergy-tested and no mineral oil but it is not dimethicone and paraben-free.

Overall, I'll give it <3 <3 <3 <3 out of 5 ^.^ And I'm ready to repurchase again as soon as the jar empties. I think it's worth a try for oily skin gals out there! The packaging is enough for me, however I would like them to include a spatula if possible.

Remember that we need to moisturize as well.

I hope this review helps a bit. Love to hear your thoughts to this product as well. :)
Thanks for reading!
